Postcard Lighthouses

Lapointe light built on Long Island 1858 to guide ships through the south channel. The 70 foot steel tower . in 1895

. Long Island and La Pointe became part of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in 1986.

Raspberry Island light went into service 1863. Redesigned in 1906-07.
