We spent the afternoon here at the Aransas Wildlife Refuge. Here is our prize. The sun was shining and he was sunning himself. We walked around this little pond, so we could get a better picture of him. Grandpa said what we don't do for our great grandkids. We were so close to get this picture. Did you know that alligators can run 30 miles per hour. Well Grandpa and I can't, I gurantee you. Hope all you kids enjoy him! We did.
This was when we were really close. They said he is 12 feet long.
This plaque was on the wall where you can stand and view the birds. We have seen all these birds but not all of them here.
