On the way to Aransas Pass

Remember the USS Lexington at Corpus Christi well this is what it looks like on the bridge from the motor home. Yhat's one thing I really like we sit up higher and can see so much more.

This is the coast line of Corpus Christi.
The tide was out when we came thru and boy does that make things look bad. Shows all the trash, kind of like the way the snow makes everything beautiful.
Forgot to tell you along RT 77 after you leave civilization you have a long stretch of highway with nothing but big cattle ranches. You see a gate and a long lane, but no home. The one gate had an Airstream Camper parked there. We wondered how long the lane was or if that was the gate keepers shack (have you ever priced an Airstream). Any how it was neat.
Well guess what, it is Tuesday and what happens in Aransas Pass on Tuesday. We head for the Big Fisherman for the special $1.75 all you can eat chicken fried steak and the trimmings. Well guess what happened when we ordered they raised the price to 2.25 well being the big spenders we are we went ahead an ordered, really enjoyed it too. You know if you come down to see us you have to be here on Tuesday so we can treat you!
Then we had to go check on our boats.
