Ashley's soccer game

AJ really didn't like just watching.
I don't know if he will wait for 4 years to play, he's a good kicker too.

She did a good job as goalie, remember we won but the ball never came close to our goalie.

Ashley's soccer game

This is Ashley's first year to play soccer. This is a little free advertisement for the store.

They have to take turns sitting out.
She just got thru working the ball with her foot, she did a really good job.
The coach thought she was paying attention but she was watching the kitten that came over from the neighbors. We won 1 to 0.
I was really proud of her. Mom and Dad was glad the kitten didn't go home with anybody.

House Kids

Grampa and I had company yesterday and we enjoyed them so much.

We found out yesterday that Morgan loves peeled grapes and bananas. Mommy couldn't peel them fast enough. ,

Wyatt is growing up so fast and getting so tall. He had 2 big cookies with his grapes and bananas. We have so many squirrells, but we went out and couldn't find but one for Wyatt. Hope they come back soon.

Neighbor's cars

These cars are on their way to California. Our neighbor that was parked here across the path built them hisself. Well or nearly all of it.

He has won trophys with his street rods. This one has a focus motor in it. They are beautiful.

This one is a Chrysler Crosssfire. It has won trophys too. There isn't a speck of dust on them. They are hauled in a trailer. The trailer has a hydraulic lift. One on top of the other. It was neat to watch. Needless to say this is a fancy trailer maybe even climate control. LOL
Just blows my mind! We were glad to see them.

Chocolate Tour

This plaque says it all.

These homes were members of Milton's board. He sold them to them for a dollar. He was so generous.
He got all of his money and backing from his aunt, his mother's sister. He went bankrupt three times. She always believed in him and helped him. He didn't even go to the eighth grade.

One of the things we remembered from the video was, they were building and they had a big machine working and the man told Hershey it took the place of 40 men. He said then get rid of it and give 40 men a job.

The chocalate Tour

These cows sang for us as we rode thru the factory.

The cows played a big part of making the special flavor that Milton Hershey had in his candy. During World War II he made a high energy bar and put it in the rations for the soldiers. It had 1800 calories in it and I think his candy still has that many calories, well at least when I eat it.

Civil War Museum

These bricks were all laid around the base of the flag pole. It told each state and how many boys and men served from that state and how many casualties.
Statue of President Lincoln

We were so touched by the flag flying in the breeze. So sad but great displays. This is a national civil war museum.
