SATURDAY

This was how our Saturday ended at AJ's first soccer game of his big 4 years. We sure enjoyed it. I do believe in this last picture he was getting some professional coaching. LOL You see who the sponsor is I hope this was a wise decision. LOL. He really did a good job for a four year old. His Dad and Mom were proud of him too, just like us and Grandma Bissett.

SATURDAY

This was 61 years ago, you do believe us don't you? You have to agree Lockington has a big fire department. My Dad was one of the founding fathers. Then we had to make a quick trip thru the cemetery.

SATURDAY

This stage coach was parked in the park, we couldn't find out who it belonged too, but it was in good shape. This is where we ate breakfast today at the church. The church is in really good shape we were so surprised. The stained glass windows are in good shape except for one, it has B B holes in it. This was quite an emotional day for us we were married here 61 years ago. It escaped being turned into a restaurant and a bar. Then purchased to make it into a home. But the boy that was going to make it into a home knew his Mom wanted it for a church again, well here it is a church. We are so thankful. So we are both going strong us and the church.

MEMORIES

Before I tell you about our big Saturday I must tell you we got a phone call and the school chums wanted to go out for pizza and Frenchy was able to play 6 handed Euchre. The boys had a ball they beat us 3 games, pitifall.
We got up really early and headed to Lockington's First Annual Canal Festival. We went for breakfast. This is the old locker that made good ice cream cones, the next picture is the town hall, quit your snickering. Then here is the first lock, remember when I did a whole blog about the locks. This town was quite a town during the canal days.

PARTY AND THEN THE REST OF THE STORY

Top 2 pictures are Morgan had creme filled cupcakes and Wyatt had Lyns version of comuflage cake. Good job Mom. These are some of their sheep. We thought they were neat.
Return to Phaeton Place. That's what I'm calling our home location. We have been fair going. First the Mercer Co fair where I get a bag of waffles for 2.00, then the Great Darke Co Fair where we get our Kiwanis sausage sandwiches and for the first time in our lives we went to the Allen Co fair. It was a nice fair too. It's not easy keeping track of all the free senior days. But we had fun. We had company from Rhode Island. Mark and Luella came in for the Vantilburg reunion and stayed here at Phaeton Place. We were able to spend a little time with them and enjoyed it. Had Dee & Bob for supper one night and bought a new grill and had Tim & Carol too. Been trying to have Ersta and Mark but they can't seem to find the time for us. Been having beautiful weather and just doing our thing. If you know us that isn't much.

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY

Wyatt got a new bike for his birthday and he was happy. Morgan was driving the car. Here is the pile of loot they got. The baby is Zion Val and Wes's baby. Valerie is Clinton's sister.

MORGAN AND WYATT'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

As you can see this was the main attraction at the party. Morgan was 4 Aug 11 and Wyatt will be 8 Sept 8. Clinton and Lynsday are having a combined party and it is nice.

MORGAN'S NEW BEDROOM

This is Morgan's freshly painted bedroom and redecorated for an older girl. I do believe she made her own bed too. Grandpa asked her to put her hat on but she said it would muss her hair. I'm sure every body knows what the chair in the corner is for. Gandma B made her curtains for her room.

We use this product on our motor home.

By The Roaminjs from Summer in Ohio and Texas in the winter on 8/22/2011

5out of 5

We purchased an used 06 motor home. It has a plastic shield on the front installed by the manufacturer. We were told to use only this product on our motor home. We are so thankful we apply this product to the whole motor home twice a year. We receive complements all the time. It looks like new. The only thing about the polish that we don't like is we have to apply it, but it is worth it. We tell people all the time how much we like it.

WYATT'S 3RD LAMB SHOW

Wyatt and Ellie did a Grand Prize show but do to incompetent judges he only came in 5th. We are so proud of him and Ellie was well behaved too. Now I want you to look at little sister Morgan. Her Mom and Dad are always telling about how ornery she is. I ask you could this little angel be ornery? We enjoyed the fair even though it was HOT and a long drive but it was worth it. As you can see still having trouble with the blog.

SUMMER FUN

We stayed at the grandkids for 2 nights rather than drive the MH. The grandaughter will be teaching school here this fall. This is the new bridge here in Toledo that crosses the Maumee River. This is her medal she won for a half marathon. Her and her husbnd are training for another marathon they will both run in. Sure nice to have them much closer. We had a great time in their apartment with them, even had a chance to play 2 games of Euchre.
