UPDATE

We finally got home(what we call home, St Marys). We lacked one day of being in Troy OH at Arbogast a month.
The cooling unit was built in Arkansas where the flooding was. So therefore they could not ship the cooling unit to us. Then when they were able to ship we got it and it had a recall on it. Another week waiting on the recall module. Arbogast didn't want us to leave till the module came in.
It was a very frustrating time, each day do we plan something or will we be leaving. We got to see the grandkids and kids more being close to P Hill.
Bob and Leesa came in from IA and we got to go out for breakfast with them and their sisters. Then they came on Sat before they went home and we had a wonderful time. The Lord knew where we needed to be and when. Got to go to the Mother and Daughter banquet with Dee and her gang. So our month went well. Played Euchre with our school chums and the girls were victorious.
We had company from RI while in Troy too. If we hadn't been there we wouldn't have gotten to see them either.
We haven't had a chance to see Abby, Bill and Amy, but that to will happen. We need to find a new church for the summer.
Made a trip to Marysville for a great niece's graduation party and it was nice spending time with my side of the family this AM.

LIFE IS NOT ABOUT THE PRIZES WE WIN BUT THE PEOPLE WE LOVE

SPRING CONCERTS

Ashley receiving her award for doing special music.

Amanda received the same award. They performed in front of their classes. They didn't get that ability from their great grandparents.

These are from the spring band concert. Sure pray she stays in band like her brother did. This talent she inheirted from her Dad and Grandma B. Had no idea we get to attend these concerts but since we were in Troy we were close and got to go.

SHOW CHOIR

We were blessed with being able to go to Cory's Spring Concert Show Choir. These kids are really talented the music they play for the singers and dancers is not easy music either. A little louder than we normally listen too but we are so proud of him.

ASHLEY'S GAME

We made it to one of Ashley's games and this is what you do while a 30 minute storm delay goes on.

She got a hit.

She got to come in home (no home run) but a good hit. We watched one inning and the big storm is coming in, so another game rained out. This was Monday evening when all the tornado threats came in. We didn't have any touch downs but the sirens rang and rang.

SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN TEXAS

No we shouldn't have stayed in Texas. We have had nothing but COLD, RAIN AND WIND. Wednesday we had a BAD wind storm, we danced around a lot but we were safe. I got up to go to the bathroom and heard an alarm going off. It was the refrigerator and the code read no co. I woke up Lowell we got out the manual and it said no cooling. We had one time to reset it and if it worked YIPPEE. Well it run till 2:45 and quit. Got up early and headed for Pleasant Hill and put the stuff in a refrigerator at the store and headed onto Arbogast in Troy. Well we are so thankful we purchased the extended warranty and it has paid off. See the big coily thing on the back that is the cooling unit and that is what we need. So we will be here till probably Saturday or so waiting for it to come in. When Lowell was driving our truck he got a portable refrigerator (cooler) for 16 years safe driving, it sure beats going and buying ice every day. But everything I need is at the store.

This is Amanda with her great grandpa. She is in the 5th grade and a lot of sports and broke her ankle in gym class, poor kid.

This is 16 year old Cory in his new outfit. He has a job with Steak and Shake and he really looks sharp. This is his first job and and we are so proud of him. He is such a good boy, a good student and plays a mean trombone in the Piqua show choir. He is wanting a car so now you know why he has a job.

Amanda is quite a gal she has grown so much this past winter, we just ccouldn't believe her. She is taller than grandpa and I both. She is adorable.

PRAISE THE LORD FOR OUR MILITARY AND THOSE BRAVE NAVY SEALS GREAT JOB WELL DONE!
